Information about the event
ENVIRONMENT
We would love that everyone comes to Konemetsä with an open mind and environment friendly attitude. As responsible event organizers we will do our best so that our waste management will be a success. We will provide the area with adequate amount of refuse bins. Our Eco Team will do their best to keep the place clean but we need your help. We believe that garbage makes more garbage. That means that if YOU keep the environment clean the rest of the people are likely to do so as well. You really can MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Konemetsä Crew would like to thank everyone who was with us last year. We are happy to announce that the festival area was tidier when we left the place than it was before we came there. Keep up the good spirit. THANK YOU.
GARBAGE DEPOSIT
As last year, we will have a garbage deposit to keep the area clean.
Here are detailed instructions how it will work:
You give a 10 € deposit to the ticket office on your arrival. (Don’t worry since you’ll get it back). At the same time you will be given a garbage bag and a token.
When you leave you bring the token and the garbage bag at least half filled to our dumpster and you will get your deposit money back.

Fri / Sat / Sun 12:00 – 20:00
AGE LIMIT
The age limit is 18. Minors are welcome but only when accompanied by a responsible parent. If you bring your kid, please do remember to bring ear protection equipment as well.
PREPARE YOUR JOURNEY
Konemetsä is truly a world of its own. Preparing your journey is the best way to get the most out of your stay. Here is a list of things that are recommended to bring:
- Tent and camping gear.
- Sleeping Bag
- Flashlight
- Mosquito Repellent
- Towel and Swimming Gear
- Padlock for your Tent
- Warm Clothes / X Change Clothes / Rain Clothes
- Portable ashtray for cigarette butts
- ENVIROMENT FRIENDLY ATTITUDE!
- DO NOT BRING ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES! Drugs are as illegal in Konemetsä as they are in the rest of Finland. Even a small possession is a minor crime and you’ll be fined if authorities will find something on you.
- Reduce the items you bring to minimum. Specially do not bring too much of what is considered as conveniences namely RUBBISH!
MAKE FRIENDS
When you set up your camp it is a great idea to make friends with your neighbours. This helps you to recognize someone that is not supposed to be there.
MUSIC
Music will be performed on four stages. This year we have over 200 hours of music in total. We are proud of that Konemetsä is a 24/7 event when it comes to music. After the music starts on Thursday 12:00 noon it will continue without stopping until Sunday 6:00 pm.
The Main Stage is a classic. This year’s line-up will be a mint and most eclectic we ever had. We will use a state of the art sound system that comes with a spectacular light show.
Desert stage will host the coolest of Hard Trance, Nu-NRG, Breaks, Psy-Trance, Electro-House and Progressive.
The Chill-Out / House Beats Stage will bring you House Beats, Chill-Out and a bit of Reggae. Depending of the hour of the day.
Forest Stage / Camp X-Rust: Techno, Detroit Techno, Dub Techno, House, Tech-House, Acid House, Chicago House, Electro, Disco, Italo Disco, Ambient…
WATER
There will be water for everyone free of charge. You may also buy water in bottles in our restaurants and bars.
RESTAURANTS AND BARS
There will be restaurants and bars where you may get proper meals of different cuisine and snacks of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. You may refresh yourself in one of our bars and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere while listening to the music you prefer.
BYO (Bring Your Own)
You may bring your own food and drinks to the festival as always before. Please notice that you may only bring drinks in plastic or tin containers. It is recommended that you do not bring your own to the stages. All our stages are equipped with a bar or a restaurant so you can refresh your thirst with cold beverages.
ATTN: No Glass bottles are allowed!
SAUNA & SHOWERS
The sauna is one of the most characteristic parts of Konemetsä. It’s warmed up before the festival and it’s kept hot during the whole event. Showers are located in the sauna area.
CAMPING AREA
The camping area is open for audience from 12:00 (noon) Thursday 2nd July.
Camping is FREE and restricted mainly to the fields.
PARTY AID
Our friendly and highly professional Party Aid Crew will take good care of you in case of physical injuries, dehydration etc. They also provide friendly company for partygoers that are confused or in an unusual state of mind. Please consult them in case of any kind of accidents.
PARKING PLACE
We highly recommend that people should use public transport when coming to Konemetsä because of the ecological impact of private cars. More over we do have a limited space for parking. I you have to arrive by car, please take as many passengers with you as possible.

Parking Price: Car 20€
Mobile homes or caravans: 30€ (Incl. electricity 1 pc 230V/16A).
Parking fee will be collected on arrival.
CHILDREN
During the years we have had a lot of children enjoying themselves at Konemetsä. Well, who wouldn’t? Think of yourself as a kid in a forest and in a natural place like where our venue is. Some people think that electronic music and children doesn’t match, we think different. Children are welcome with responsible parents.
FIRE SAFETY
No open fires are permitted anywhere in the area. Festival staff will provide and maintain open fires around the area. Gas cooking devices are allowed with extreme caution. Caution is also required when smoking. Always stub out your cigarette in a container or similar and make sure the light has gone out. There is water in barrels around the area for immediate distinguishing and fire distinguishers are located in all stages and bars. Please inform our staff members immediately if you discern any type of fire in the area.
ATTN: Do NOT drink and drive. It's not just illegal but also very hare-brained and dangerous to both yourself and others.
